But more than just a retail space, Oh What A Stitch is a hub for creativity and collaboration. We will host regular workshops, classes, and quilting bees, providing a warm and inviting environment for quilters of all levels to come together, share ideas, and inspire one another. About Me
My name is Lesley Berscheid, and I am thrilled to share my passion for quilting with you. Ever since I was a young adult, I have been captivated by the art of fabric, thread, and creativity. What started as a hobby in my aunt’s sewing room has blossomed into a lifelong journey dedicated to the craft I love. When I’m not surrounded by beautiful fabrics and inspiring quilt patterns, I love spending time with my family, who motivate me to create and explore new ideas. I have a wonderful husband who has encouraged and supported me to follow my dream, along with five children who I am sure will be spotted from time to time at the store!
At Oh What A Stitch, I believe that quilting is more than just a hobby – it’s a way to connect with friends, family, and community. There is nothing I enjoy more than quilting with my mom, aunts, cousin and teaching my kids! I’m here to help you find the perfect materials for your next project, offer tips, and share in the joy of quilting!
My mission is to create a welcoming space where you can explore your creativity, learn new techniques, and find the perfect materials to bring your quilting dreams to life.
The creation of Oh What A Stitch continued to develop as I created more and more t-shirt quilts, memory quilts, bears, runners and pillows for customers.
